Includes 3D model STL files for 3D printing the intake bracket, exhaust bracket and sockets. With these files you can use your preferred slicer software to create gcode files and print out the tool in PLA or any other strong meterial (Nylon, PETG). You will receive the STL files and basic slicing instructions via email.
This 3D printed Valve Spring Compressor Tool is specially designed to change valve stem seals on the BMW N40/N42/N45/N46 engine. Changing worn valve stem seals will greatly reduce oil consumption and blue smoke coming out of the exhaust after idle.
What's included in the 3D model pack:
- STL file for intake bracket
- STL file for exhaust bracket
- STL file for sockets with 6 mm hole
- STL file for sockets with M8 threaded hole
- STL file for magnetic screwdriver attachment for removing/installing valve keepers
- STL files for 0.6 Nm torque wrench
- STL file for Valvetronic intermediate lever clips (can be used instead of zipties)
- STL file for sparkplug air compressor adapter
You will also need 2 or 4 standard metric M8x60 mm bolts to use the tool.
